Vitamins
Just spoke with my OBGYN nurse and I asked if I should be taking any particular vitamins. She said just regular everyday vitamins and iron. What are you ladies taking? I thought she was going to be more specific than just everyday vitamins

I'm on the Target brand pre-natals. They're the one that comes with the two bottles.

I thought the nurse was going to say pre-natals. I wonder what the difference between the prenatals and the everyday vitamin are?? hmmm

I have another question. I just bought prenatal vitamins, and I got them home and it says I have to take 6 pills a day!!! I don't know if I can commit to that! Is there a brand that is 1 to 2 times per day?

Target Up Up brand. 2 pills once a day. And you can take them at the same time!

I am taking the Duane reade brand and it's only 1 pill a day. I compared the content with the CitrNatal that was prescribed to me, but too expensive, the only thing missing is the DHA.

Make sure you are taking enough folic acid!
I take Women's One A Day plus folic acid!

So my husband asked me why do we have to take prenatal vitamins before we even get pregnant? And I really didn't have an answer. Why is it that we are supposed to take them before hand. Is it to help get pregnant?
