Heartburn from DHA?
I started taking DHA this week and its literally killing me, I havent taken it in two days and I am still feeling the effects...
has anyone tried one that they didnt get any heartburn or nasty fish burps with

do you eat before you take it?
i dont like it much but i find that taking it with fruit punch or some type of sweet juice helps immensely

I am a little lost. What is DHA? I am guessing it is a vitiamin for brain development but I thought it is included in some baby's fomulas. Am I somewhat right???

Yea I take all my vitamins after dinner right before I eat my dessert- which is usually ice cream

yes- its for brain development and its good to take while pregnant for the fetus's development. Not that I am pregnant yet, I just want to get my body used to the supplement

Thank you so much for explaining that to me. I know that Pre-Natals, Folic Acid, and now DHA are all helpful vitaimns for baby.

My ob/gyn gave me CitraNatal Assure to start taking while TTC. 2 pills - 1 is the prenatal the other is the DHA capsule @ 300 mg. I always take it at night before I go to bed to avoid any side effects while I'm awake (I've always taken vitamins that way - my MD said it was fine to). I haven't had any side effects with the CitraNatal Assure.
