? about HSG
I know that you can take Advil before the HSG but can you take a vicodin?? I think I read somewhere on here that someone took it after but I didn't see anyone say before.. What do you think??

I would check with your dr's office. I couldn't eat for 3 hours before- so no way was I taking something stronger on an empty stomach. I took an advil an hour before and another after. I felt fine afterwards- almost no cramping. I don't know that you'd need something as strong as vicodin. Good luck

OMG!!! I totally wasn't even thinking.. I completely forgot that I can't eat anything... I can't take anything.. not even advil b/c I get extremely nauseous... Ugghh.. well hopefully It won't hurt that bad...
Thanks for your feedback and reminding me about not eating.. I definetly had a brain glitch there for a minute

you really can't eat before? I'm having one done on Thursday and they told me there was nothing I had to do to prep
maybe I should call them again

I was told that I cannot eat or drink for 4 hours before.. I would call again..
