theres a lot of buzz about crib bumpers causing sids check out these ...not having a bumper but protecting your baby from the crib bars...me likey!

Doesn't keep pacis in the crib, though.... that was a huge benefit of the breathable bumpers for us. Also, I wonder if hands and feet would be more likely to get trapped, since there's a little give in the bumpers to push out through, but the opening is now smaller, and the perfect size to trap wrists and ankles...
