The week of O, how often do you...do it?
DH's best friend and his wife were TTC... and naturally they got pregnant on their first month trying. DH's friend "helpfully" points out that we're "wrong" for doing it every day around O (-4 to 1dpo), and we should scale it back a bit. I know, thanks to the lovely ladies of LIF, that a man w/o any known fertility issues is fine to do it everyday. But it made me wonder: what's everyone else doing?

We BD every other day until pos OPK, then 3 days in a row. The last 2 months we missed that 3rd day. We were exhausted and I think I already O'd--cervix firm, closed, no CM, etc. I'm not sure if it mattered given my LPD, but this month we vowed to bd that 3rd night.
I think when there's no sperm issue, every day is perfectly fine around O.

Up to this point, we try to BD every day once i get my but since we havent gotten our BFP - we are going to try every other day and see what happens.

Ironically, last month we only did the deed once a week and I didn't even know I was ovulating. Now I am pregnant! I guess it really does only take one.

the months before this month, we were doing every other day, except for the 3rd month when i had the flu. This month however, we did everyday for 4 days straight, and I got a BFP. i knew I was ovulating and decided to try something different, and it worked. so just go with your gut!
