I am embarrassed to admit...
That I peed in a cup today, used a FRER at 9DPO. Since the control line was kind of light (lighter than usual), I actually re-dipped to make sure there was enough on there.
Yes, I have sunk to a new low.
Play along - Share your lowest TTC moment so i don't feel as stupid as I do right now

Um, how about choosing your underwear in the am based on which ones CM might show up better on? Yeah, definitely a TTC confession.

Re: I am embarrassed to admit...
I peed on a stick, saw nothing come up, threw it in the garbage. Took a shower, came out, went back into the garbage, and there was a line. So I took the test apart, held it all kinds of angles to make sure I wasn't seeing things.
Turns out, I had a BFP on my hands, and would have never known if I didn't go dumpster diving. (Ok, I would have known bc I would have taken another test that night )

Re: I am embarrassed to admit...
I had an absolute tantrum one night when DH felt sick and didn't want to BD. Yelled and pouted that night and the next day

Re: I am embarrassed to admit...
Taking my OPK in a plastic baggie out with us so I could test at the same time everyday. Ok, same two times because I test twice a day. Every 12 hours.

OK, this must be the ultimate...I've actually taken an HPT during AF. I don't know, maybe I was feeling off and figured there must be some mistake.

Re: I am embarrassed to admit...
I think I hit my lowest tonight........ I know from my RE that I have elevated LH so taking an OPK is absolutely pointless..........
Well, I saw what looked like lots of CM tonight and actually took an OPK I have no idea why I did that...... Of course it came up basically positive but it means nothing I'm on provera now anyway.

This is great! I've never tested during AF but I have when I KNOW there is no way it would be a BFP. What is it that makes us so caaaaraaaazzzzy!???

Hi- just wanted to say that this is not necessarily true. I had two blood tests and was found to have elevated LH. I only ovulated once in the past four months, BUT the ONLY time I got a positive was the one month I did O (confirmed by charting and O 14 days later). I find that the digital ones are the ones that work for me.
Just something to keep in mind

I do this. DH needed to get money for takeout and came across it
A little baggie with the test stick and a shot glass for the pee

Wow, interesting. Thank you, that's good to know!
I actually hope I didn't 'o' though because I'm taking provera anyway so that would probably ruin everything, right?

Re: I am embarrassed to admit...
I took a test really early our first month TTC... maybe like 6DPO... because I just "felt different."
Sigh. That's why I can't have HPTs in the house.
