Question regarding RE appointments.

I am seeing my RE on Monday (CD12) to start the monitoring for Ovulation and I'm guessing I'll have to go back every morning next week for bloodwork, sonos, etc.

My appointment is at 6:45am. WIll my doctor actually be there to see me/talk to me? Or will this whole process be between me and the nursing staff?

My first appt was with my doctor, but then I went in again for tests and I met with the nurses and they were actually the ones who wrote me my scripts.

Re: Question regarding RE appointments.

With my RE, I always saw the nurses for the blood draw and had the sono first - then sat with the doctor before leaving to go over everything - how many follies, change up dosage of meds, how close until trigger, etc...

The nurse would call later in the day in case bloodwork showed something that would cause the dosage of the meds to have to change.

Good luck!

At my RE if I go in for early morning monitoring, I will see the PA and get any scripts from them I need. If there is anything that I need to be told regarding my bloodwork the PA will call me after she has spoken to the Dr.

each place is different. 9 out 10 times my RE does the sono and is there, but occaissionally he's out and a nurse does it. they are great too though.

you prob wont have to go in every day. i have never heard of anyone going every single day on clomid alone. after the first if you are progressing slowly it will prob be 3-5 days, if you are progressing quicker prob 2 days later.
