So i'm sure people have MUCH bigger problems today....
........but I commute to work bright and early every morning from Long Island to NJ with my DH. On this particular morning, I got a rare treat  DH decided to spin off to Starbucks & get me my favorite Skinny Cinnamon Latte ICED.
Every time I shake the cup or move the cup or drink from the cup....it leaks. I don't know what's wrong with this stupid top and while there are far bigger problems in the world.....why did this stupid top have to ruin my perfectly wonderful latte.....FML.
KWIM???? grrr.

I can *totally* understand this!!!!!  OK you have 2 options, blame DH, particularly the way he is driving  or email Starbucks and get coupons for free lattes!!!!!!

Check to make sure there aren't 2 lids on the cup  For some reason that would always happen to me when there was accidentally an extra one put on.

You would think the prices they charge for the fancy coffees they could have cups that dont leak!!
I agree with the PP there could be 2 lids on it...it that case....more isnt better.

I hate when that happens. Lately the Starbucks near my job has been awful! I finally sent in a complaint, we will see what happens.

Awe... that we me yesterday. I had a coffee from Au Bon Pan that I didn't know was leaking on me every time I took a sip b/c I had a thick sweater on. I looked down and saw a few spots on my top and then had to go and soak it. 
It happens and Vent away.

Does it make you feel any better that there was a hole in the bottom of the bottle insert for DS's bottle this morning? I filled the insert with milk, and it just continued to go through the bottom of the insert ALL over my counter and floor.
Something in the universe must not be aligned, beverage containers all over the world are messed up today.

has happened to me and hate it. you have to take the lid off, wipe it off with a napkin and put it back on . it works, I don't know what it is , but it does. (or always did for me)

I am laughing at all of these responses. I did check the lid, wiped it, put it back on, took it back off and examined it, put it back on..still leaked....took it back off and cursed at it...put it back on....nothing worked. It ended up all over my pants, desk, had sticky fingers, whatever
LOL Neener, this one above was the best. Love it!! So sorry that happened to you, at least you are able to laugh at it.
