Sorry: TMI Constipation
So I have to up my iron intake to prep for my c/s. I just had the joy of trying to pass a fist-sized BM. Can we take suppositories or something?

Try Miralax,,,you can get it at
cvs...helped me tremendously in the beginning when I had the same problem.

I take Colace and drink Metamucil once in the morning and once before bed.... it isn't so bad if you mix it with juice and CHUG the sucker down. It makes it MUCH easier to have a BM. Another option is an enema... not the most fun, but it's an option if you're that constipated.

If you're still having trouble with this bm, i'd suggest the enema being that you won't be able to get the relief that a suppository gives....tablets and powders, etc only really provide relief over time...if you weren't taking them before, they may not help that much with this bm
