Provera Question
Has anyone ever be on provera? and is it safe??..what are the side effects?. My doctor thinks i might need to take it because of my irregular cycles..but sometimes there not irregular so im just wondering if anyone's been on it before..TIA!

Is provera the one that brings on AF? If so I had it once years ago. I don't remember there being any major side effects.

If I remember correctly it was only like a week or so of pills. Maybe even less. This was like 5 years ago, sorry I'm not more of a help!

you take it for 5 days then a few days later AF comes
I didnt feel any side effects and was fine.

I took Provera for 5 days and got AF 4 days after I took the last pill. I didn't have any side effects at all. HTH!

ive taken provera 3 times and never had any side effects. i got AF anywhere between 3-7 days after the pill.

I've taken it multiple times to bring on AF with absolutely no side effects. I usually get AF the day of my last pill.
