New Here with a Question
Hi everyone,
I have been lurking for a bit, but we have decided to come off birth control and see what happens (I have a lot of health issues, so taking it 1 step at a time). My doctor suggested taking pre-natal vitamins while TTC, any suggestions on which to take? Thanks!

Welcome!!
I know that a lot of girls on here have mentioned Rainbow Light which I believe is at Target.
I personally just take one that I bought at the food store, it has 800 mcg of folic acid.

All the major stores carry over the counter pre-natals. Check with your Dr to see what he recommends as each have diff. supplements.

I use the GNC ones with the iron in them- my gyno basically told me that they were fine as long as they had the folic- i think she said I needed at least 800mg

I'm currently on a Rx brand, Citranatal. But I plan on switching to something OTC once i finish the box I have now. Target carries a few different brands.

I take the Target brand prenatals. They are the only ones that have not made me sick, they have the required amount of folic acid, and they are pretty cheap.

I take CVS brand and have no problems what so ever with it. I hate taking pills and these are not that big so it works for me.

I take my regular vitamin along with a Rx my RE wrote me for 1mg of folic acid.

While TTC to took OTC target brand prenatals and at like 6 weeks preggo I switched to Pre-Nexa which is prescription.
