Hello ladies! - New here
Hello ladies. My name is Toni and I am new here. My husband and I have been married for 5 months and are going to start TTC in Feb.
A couple of questions:
~Are you ladies taking prescription or OTC prenatal vitamins? I haven't started yet and was wondering if there is a certain kind that is recommended.
~Did you start temping and using OPK to figure out when you are O'ing from when you started TTC? I feel like maybe we can start trying without that and if it doesn't happen then move on to that, but maybe I am being a bit naive about how easy/difficult it is going to be.

I am taking prescrition prenatals.
DH and I were just BDing around O time with out temping or anything. I am in the 2WW now. If I need to go for a 3rd month. Then we are going to temp and chart.

Welcome...hope your stay is short & sweet
I just started taking OTC Pre-Natals this month. I'm on my 3rd month of Colmid & just had my first IUI done this month.
I did not use an OPK when we first started TTC. I only started when I started to see my RE - back in Sept.
If you have a regular cycle, than you should find TTC easy. If you're like me & several other ladies on here who's cycles are long & everywhere, you may get a bit frustrated with it all.

I am taking an over the counter brand and I am taking a whatever happens attitude and I have not started to temp or use OPK's yet
I hope your stay is a short one

Welcome and good luck! I am taking OTC GNC prenatals.
DH and I just winged it for the first few months. When that didn't work, I started temping and using OPKs.

Welcome. Hope you're not here too long!

I take OTC prenatals--One A Day.
~Did you start temping and using OPK to figure out when you are O'ing from when you started TTC? I don't temp. Only use OPKS. They can't confirm O, but you'll "most likely" O soon after a positive. I find them helpful. I realized I O late: CD20-23.

~ I am taking womans one a day and another supplement of folic acid.
~Right after I got off the pill, I started using OPKs and temping. I wanted to know right away if I was O'ing or not.

Hello, and welcome!
I take the Target brand prenatals. They are the only vitamins I've ever taken that don't make me sick. They also have the required amount of Folic Acid.
DH and I TTCed for 3 months before I gave in to OPKs. In month 4 I gave up before I could ever get a positive OPK because I didn't think my cycle was going to be as long as it was (42 days) and I thought I missed my surge. In month 5 (current cycle) I got a positive OPK and was never happier. I wish I had started using them earlier.

Welcome
I take store-brand OTC prenatals
I actually started OPK before we oficially started TTC, but thats more because Im kind of a control freak and only have a short window next year when I can have a baby with my work schedule, so I wanted to enhance my chances of getting pg on the first few tries...
hope your stay here is short!
