OPK Question

ANyone else never get a positive? This is our first month officially TTC but just out of curiousity I tried OPK last month just to get a feel for my cycle, and never got a smiley. Now I am on CD 17 and I was really expecting one in the past few days, but I keep getting negatives. This happen to anyone else? Going by the CM, I should be Oing any day now, but it frustrates me that the OPK is persistently negative...

I had this issue for a while, too. I found taking the tests with FMU didn't work, so I would wait the 4 hours from the time I would normally get home from work and that's when I tested and I started to get more accurate readings.

They say its best to test between 11am to 8pm. Since the test is for a LH surge you shouldn't use FMU. We have LH in our bodies and it might be more concentrated using FMU. Unless the box says to use FMU then your good...

Also, My Dr. told me that sometimes we don't ovulate every month. Maybe your just not "o"ing this month.

You also might be "O"ing late, some girls "O" on CD20 and more.
