Try hairspray, worked like a charm for us, with marker on tv and leather couch

I know alcohol removes permanent marker, I'm just not sure if it will damage the finish.
Maybe test out a small hidden area?

Re: How to clean Permanent marker from furniture?

I dug this post up because I'm reading Family Circle and theres a Stain Master question that made me think of this!

It actually says to rub the stains with a dollar bill! If that doesn't work, pour a little lemon oil (a furniture polish and cleaner) on the spots and buff gently with very fine steel wool, following the grain. If it still doesn't come off, you'll need to sand and restain!

Hope it helps, let us know!
