Early Symptoms...very long

I have to admit... on Monday I searched the boards for the very first time to look for early signs of pregnancy. (I'm an LIW 09 girl so I always heard about LIF.)

I had a feeling something was up... and overall just this feeling of I'm pretty POSITIVE I'm pregnant... all symptoms aside. I almost can't explain it.

I was going to wait to take a test... but after reading the things written on the early signs, it made me HAVE to take a test that night. I decided to buy 2 differnet kinds of tests (to REALLY make sure). One ended up being digital and the other was a line test. I took 4 tests all together and all 4 said POSITIVE!! So thank you for the inforamtion out there on the boards!!

My early signs were:
Boobs - swollen and just overall sore. They were tender to the touch. This is normal for me when AF is due to arrive; usually the feeling lasts for a few days before and during the beginning of AF. However, the feeling was slightly different from the norm and was lasting longer without AF arriving. Also, they FELT different. I normally have firm boobs... but they just became like rocks!!! After we tested I made DH feel them and he agreed!!

Feeling of Gas - I have and had constant gas and just had to keep going to the bathroom. It almost felt like I ate something bad. This too was ongoing and just didn't dissapate. and still hasn't! Actually I still have ALL of these symptoms.

Hot and Cold flashes... mainly hot... but this is constant!!!

Headaches - pretty consistant. I always got migraines though but something was different about them!

hearburn - pretty consistant, but not too bad yet. This is also something I always got... but it was VERY strong during the real beginning (before I knew and literally the day right after I conceived).

Nausea and Foods - I have not yet puked but I did on occasion get boughts of nausea that went away fairy quickly. Even moreso than that... I found myself talking about wanting cake and odd foods that I normally don't care about. Also, while eating some foods I immediately was disgusted with them and literelly had to spit it out of my mouth and coudn't continue eating them.

Dizzy - I definately got dizzy multiple times. I didn't pass out or come close to that... but I felt like I was in a daze a few times... even got confused in the mist of talking to people.

Sleep - My sleeping patterns became WAY off!! This could have been due to the time difference and jet lag from the HM (we are having a HM baby!!) BUT still, it was odd. I was UNABLE to sleep at night... I would be up until 6am!! And then it was physcially impossible to get out of bed until 3 pm!! I had a few days off from work after coming home from an extra long HM but by the time I went back to work I was physically unable to get out of bed and function. I ended up taking 2 sick days. At times I would just get super tired out of nowhere... sometimes I was unable to keep my eyes open at work.

Pee - Definately the number of times in a day increased!!!!

INSTINCT - Probably the biggest symptom I had!! I always thought that when I became pregnant I should just know through instinct. I never quite understood HOW this would be... but felt it's how it would work. And boy did it!! I just knew the symptoms I felt, which are pretty close to AF arrival symptoms, just they were different and lasted longer than usual and something just kept telling me internally that I was pregnant. I didn't tell ANYONE what I thought or what I was feeling, not even DH. I didn't want to sound crazy and moreso I didn't want to be wrong (I also felt I would look stupid if I mentioned it and was wrong for some reason).... so I kept it a secret!!! Also when I checked the boards there was some information on instinct... and I belive the first sentence listed checking the early signs posts as a sign.... basically... if you are looking at this list now then you just might be pregnant!! It REALLY hit me... i think this was the moment I realized I just NEEDED to test!!!

DH was Surprised when i put the 2 tests in the cart when we went to the supermarket Monday evening. After I read the early signs... a lot of them matched up to what I was feeling. He smiled.... real big... but then he kinda thought I was crazy because I was only a week late (I have a VERY VERY IRREGULAR period... which is also why I thought it wouldn't happen so fast) and I guess me not mentioning how I was feeling or what I thought to him added to his confusion and thoughts of my craziness.

I couldn't even pee on the first stick... i tried... but the gas overcame. Sorry if that's TMI... but that's what happened... just another one of my symptoms!! I tried again about an hour later (maybe less) and it was the digital one... it said Pregnant!! I showed DH and we were in SHOCK!!

Then I took 3 more... just to make SURE!! haha!! The next 3 all said the same reading!!!

Now I'm sooo lost on all this stuff and what's going on. I know very little about pregnancy... i was always scared to know... I'm freaked out by the birth process. I want to have 3 kids.... BUT the pregnancy part - mainly giving birth always scared the heck out of me... so I never read or learned anything... and now I'm TOTALLY in the dark with everything!!! But we are still super excited!!!

Yeah, I'd tell work too. Then you won't be stressing every time you have a dr's appt. like "oh what am I gonna say, are they gonna be mad."
