Happy Babies (bellies, puffs, melts, etc.)....(the brand)

i saw a thread on happy bellies today with regards to gastro issues (i believe)....

does anyone have any feedback on the food or rice cereals or anything really???

i really & truly want to make Em's food - but when we're on vacations, etc...this may be easier to do (maybe - we'll see i guess)...

I love the frozen cubes.

I feel like they give her a much wider palate than I would have--I mean salmon and lentils with prunes? I would never! They are also great for popping into a bowl on the go. They either melt or when you get where you're going, you can heat them a little and stir. I have tried every kind and Dd has eaten them all. I got them from Fresh Direct.

I used both Happy Bellies puffs and all their cereals. Now that they are on regular food I don't really give them much of that anymore. The puffs are pretty expensive and now I tend to just buy them organic cereal(Right now I give them Clifford Crunch as a snack) I was buying corn puffs at Big Lots for $1 each but they are sold out now.

I think that was my thread - Yael has always had bad pooping/digestive issues, and starting on oatmeal and veggies/fruit has just aggravated it. I was about to just stop altogether until a few ladies on here recommended the happy bellies oatmeal - I tried it for the first time yesterday and Yael is a completely different baby today!

Oh Beth so happy to hear that!!! The Dr told us we can give Riley 2oz of water with 2oz of pear juice a day. That has really made a difference with her pooping issues!! Now with the oatmeal we use pear in it and works wonders!!!Chat Icon

Yup, that's what our Ped recommended too, and I've tried it, but it didn't seem to do enough to offset the binding effect of the oatmeal, even with pear mixed in the oatmeal. But, the happy bellies oatmeal seems to have worked... so far... we shall see!

I bought 1 or 2 boxes of the cubes. DS tolerated them, but it was at the point that he started rejecting a lot of the pureed foods. He absolutely loves the puffs and yogurt melts though.
