switching between Tylenol and Motrin for a fever
how do I go about doing this? DS has had a fever for 5 days and the dr. just tells me it's a cold.

If you stick with one, you can only use it every 4 hours. If you switch back and forth, you can give every 3 hours.

Yup, this is what our ped just told us  FYI, as far as I know, Tylenol can be given every 4 hours, but Motrin only every 6 hours - so for a fever it's best to go back and forth.
