PSA for TCOYF
You MUST read this book!!!!!
Ok obviously you don't have to  But seriously this book and it's charting method just caused me to have a revelation.
DH and I are on out 2nd cycle of ttc. This is my first charting, temping and using OPK's. I'm at CD33 and according to FF and OPK's I hadn't yet ovulated. I decided to tear out one the charts from TCOYF and pull all my info from FF and see what I found. Using the method from the book I saw a CLEAR rise in temp on CD23 indicating that I O'd the day before. (FF somehow "missed" this) I also checked what I had charted on FF for CM in the couple days prior to Oing and wouldn't you know...EWCM! Also my temps have all been above my coverline since the shift. I am 11dpo and I am grinning from ear to ear! I was starting to feel so down waking up every morning to a - OPK. Even if I'm not pregnant I am so happy to know that at least things seem to be working "down there" I just had to come on here and share my story. I know there must be others out there dealing with the same frustrations I was and I hope this can help. While all the technology with charting online and OPK's is wonderful it doesn't work for everyone and I'm so glad that I found out that it wasn't necessarily me that was the problem.

It's not so much that it's different as it explains it so you know exactly what you're charting. For me this helped because I was able to recognize a shift in temp that FF didn't consider significant enough. Does that make sense? Things sound better in my head sometimes

I'm in love with it! Mine actually came with a 15 day trial of the software that does everything electronically and I went ahead and bought the full version for $39.99. It's so much more informative and intuitive than FF, IMO.

I went out at lunch and picked up the book today.
There is a web page where you can print out the handwritten sheets to track manually. My boss came over so I didn't get invesigate futher.

You can actually buy the complete software from the website. The book only came with the 15 day trial so I had to go to the website and buy the full version to get the registration code. Their website does have some other features as OP mentioned but I didn't really check it out so I'm not sure what they are.
