I'm pretty sure it's the time between ovulation and when AF shows up. Don't feel like a moron this stuff can get really confusing!

Yes thats exactly what it is Its the same number of days for every cycle.

My LP has not been the same amount of days every cycle

Really? From what I read, it should be the same amount of days for each cycle. Are you taking something that might affect your LP?

Really? From what I read, it should be the same amount of days for each cycle. Are you taking something that might affect your LP?
The PP is right. O timing can change (due to stress, travel, illness, etc) so if AF is late, it's generally not because of the luteal phase. Are you taking a prenatal? Some of them (the Target ones, for example) have very high doses of B-vitamins, which can lengthen your LP a day or two. Other than that, the LP stays the same from one month to the next.
