Soda bad?

Is having soda bad while ttc? I know we shouldnt drink it while pregnant, but Im not sure if we can have it while ttc.

I pretty much drink soda with my dinner every night...its an addiction lol

All I've heard is about caffeine. I think you just have to cut back. A friend of mine drank regular soda throughout her pregnancy, her doctor thought it was better than diet.

Moderation is key here. As long as you're not drinking a six-pack of Pepsi for breakfast, I think you're ok.

I, personally, think caffeine is fine while TTC as long as it's not excessive. When you're PREGNANT, however, i think it should be cut entirely. But I'm no doctor.

My doctor told me I needed to cut back on the soda even if it's diet because of the caffeine. She said it is known to cause miscarriages. She said to have no more than 3 cans of soda a day. I'm trying to drink more water.

i've heard that you have to watch your caffiene intake and that the aspertame sweetner in diet is not good while preggers. so if you're going to drink it i'd say stick with the regular and watch your caffiene intake. as far as drinking it while TTC i don't think there is any problem with it.
