I was supposed to be a December mom...
...but it turns out our little  had different plans! About 3 weeks ago I delivered a beautiful, little healthy girl a bit earlier than expected making me an October mom  ! And talk about making an entrance...she showed up on the day of my baby shower no less! Looks like she is going to be a party girl just like her mom   .
There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why she came early. All the tests and bloodwork came back fine and my whole pregnancy was uneventful (until that point!). My doctor said she was just ready to come out. And I am happy to say she came out kicking and screaming (best sound ever!  ) and our little munchkin is doing great and tipping the scales at over 5 lbs!
Anyway, I'm not sure what I would have done without this board. Everyone was so helpful whenever I had any questions or concerns. Best of luck to everyone during the rest of their pregnancies. See you on the parenting boards soon  .
