silly question, but i don't remember my bio 101
please don't laugh at me! do women ovulate one egg at a time and that's why we typically don't have twins, or do we ovulate more than one, but only one egg typically gets fertilized by the sperm?

its one at a time for singletons. in identical twins the single ovulated egg splits. in twins or other non-identical multiples, multiple eggs are ovulated.
