What is the point of. . . UPDATE!
the keeping track of my cycle, the grapefruit juice, the prenatals, the flax seed oil supplements, the improved diet. . .
if DH falls asleep at 10PM?!
It is just so frustrating. I can do ONE million things to TTC, and all he has to do is ONE. If I do the ONE million, and he doesn't do the ONE - it just isnt going to happen. If he does the ONE and I don't do the ONE MILLION, it could still possibly happen!
10/29/2009: So, i basically had a breakdown. DH and I had to literally schedule a "talk" b/c he is working so much. During the talk he said that he knows that he is the one who has to change. I told him that if wants to wait to TTC, I will wait until he is ready. He promised me that he is definitely ready!
So, last night after BD he gets up and he is like "Don't you need to drink the grapefruit juice now or something, do you want me to get it for you?"
I was PIMP! I explained that I could drink it anytime but thanks anyway!

sometimes when TTC, BDing becomes almost like a chore - it takes the fun and spontaneity out of it  Especially when its been a few months...
Guys just dont get it - they think we are being neurotic or obsessive

I totally get it. I cried this weekend when I made advance (DH knew I got the smiley) and he was like not righ tnow...
and I LOST it! I mean i can't always be the one...I do EVERYTHING like you said...can he just man up and do his 1???
he felt bad after that. See that's why I try to do the deed earlier in the evening like when he gets home...so there is no excuse! lol

i dont make a big show of the whole inner workings of TTC. I mean, he is not dumb so out of nowhere when it is every day - he understands why. I am trying so hard to keep it spontaneous - just initiate out of nowhere. . . and this is the embarassing part . . . he was watching something so he told me to go in bed and he would be in, in a few. . . so i did - and next thing i know i hear snoring from the living room! wow! you must have been really excited about it i felt SO dumb and thats why i started crying!
and tonight is guys' night so thats out too! unless i crash it and put on a show LOL
i feel like saying "ok i will carry the baby for nine months, take care of him or her for 18 years, worry about them for the rest of my life - can't you just give me five minutes here!"

I feel the same way!!! I couple cycles back, DH had the nerve to complain and i was like - what the hell? Of ALLLLL the stuff I'VE got to do in this TTC business (which can be quite stressful at times), he has no right to complain about anything. lol. Men!!
Sometimes I feel like I'd be better off if I could just do all this on my own. It would be a lot less work if I didn't have to involve him until AFTER I was pregnant

thats the thing, i take care of everything on my own. I cook, clean, do laundry, take care of the bills and household business. I do everything and that's okay - I like knowing things are done.
i am about to arm myself with a turkey baster!!!

I totally agree!!! I spend many hours a week trying to evaluate my body and reasearch as much as possible and all he has to do is unleash some good swimmers. C'MON!!!
