spinoff to prenatals question ...
We will be starting in a month, which means I will be on my pill until then.
Since they say you should start taking prenatals a few months prior to trying, would it be weird if I took the prenatals WHILE I finish my last month of pills? (seems weird to take prentals while on the pill)  But it can't hurt, right?

I took it one day and didnt feel so good (it was probably just all in my head lol)... so I just decided to take my One-A- Day and didnt take the extra folic acid pill until I was off the pill.
Did your doc give you prenatals or you going to get some over the counter?

they are just vitamins - i have been taking prenatals for over three years, i started before my wedding to help my hair and nails grow! no worries, start when you want :)

I would definitely start taking them now. I think the reason they say to start taking them before you actually start trying is so you build up the folic acid in your system a little bit. If it bothers your stomach, try taking it right before you go to bed.

I second this advice....i was taking them in the morning and felt so naseaus for hours. Now I take them right before bed and I don't feel a thing

I started taking them months before we started TTC. Def start taking them now. It's just a vitamin - no harm in taking them before TTC. They've done WONDERS for my hair and nails.
