I think I'm out...

I think I'm out... but I'm not sure.

I get some brown spotting about a week before I get AF. (She's due on 10/28). This morning, I started light spotting as per usual.

I know "it's not over until it's over" and all, but I feel like this month was a bust. Its only our first month TTC, so I don't have a right to be disappointed, but... I am.

Anyone here use CBE OPKs? (the ones with the smiley face?) What do you think of them? If I'm really out this month, I think OPKs are my next step... any other suggestions?

Sorry about the blank post. I know how you feel but you're def not out until AF comes for sure. I'm only in my second month ttc and I know its hard not to get upset and disappointed. I used the line opks the first month and I found them hard to read so I switched to CBE's this month and will continue with them. Good luck!!

I know how you are feeling right now. This is our first month TTC while seeing an RE. I have been having AF like cramps on and off since yesterday. I'm 12dpo today & cd33.

I just truly feel like AF is showing her face.

In regards to the OPK. I was also using CBE with the smiley face while being monitored by my RE (I did a round of Clomid)

They NEVER showed a smiley face when I used them. The morning that I ovulated - I saw my RE & he was the one that told me I O'd...so I'm not sure how much I like them.

As for OPK's, I test twice a day (to be sure) with dollar tree tests. I actually find them VERY reliable! The line is VERY clear when it is positive for me. Plus, for $1 a test you can't go wrong!!! I also bought 1 pack of digital smiley face ones. They are close to $40 so I only use them to confirm a positive when I see one on the dollar tree line tests. Saves so much money AND you can test twice a day at that price :)

But with the OPK's i just started this past month w/ the CBE and I got my smiley yesterday! I didn't want to mess with lines and wondering what is what so I think it was a good chioce! Very easy!
