Annual gyno check-up during 2ww...

I have my annual gyno appointment on what I think is 10DPO (I'm only using EWCM as a guide).

I'm going to a new practice, I know my old practice gave us a urine test at every annual check-up (I assume that part of this was a pregnancy test? Maybe not.) but I'm not sure if that's the norm?

My questions:
1. Do all practices do a urine test at an annual check-up?
2. Do they automatically check if you are pg?
3. Should I say something about being 10DPO or is it silly because that's too soon for most people to see a BFP?

1st of all - real funny b/c i too am going to new obgyn tommorrow and i am about 6 DPO.

As far as i know - my old practice gave the urine test for sugar levels. But im not 100% sure and all practices are different.

I think you should defianetly tell your doctor that you are TTC and 10 DPO - see what they say - i think thats important information regardless if they'll test or not. I plan on giving my dr the scoop.

Yes, they do a urine test at every annual but I don't think it's for pregnancy. If you want a pregnancy test you should tell them.
I also went in for my annual at 12DPO. I requested a pregnancy test because the day before I had tested positive and was so sure about that. Well, the test came back negative at my doc's office because it wasn't FMU. I was so ******!!
At 10DPO it might be a little early but it doesn't hurt to try. You're not paying for the test. It's covered under insurance. Good luck!!

They do take urine at my annual appointments, but they don't check for pregnancy. Also, 10DPO might be too early for the urine test to come up positive since sometimes they use regular strip tests like we do at home. BUT, let them know you are TTC and about 10DPO and would like a blood test. They'll have the results the next day and that's definite!!
