Do you test OPK everyday??
Do you test everyday after CD10 OR do you test one day and then one day no so that you dont waste all of your OPKs?

I just answered your question on the other thread as well.
I tested twice a day (FMU and at 6:30) everyday from the last day of my period until I got a + OPK and then tested until it went back to negative so I knew when to start counting DPO. I was on birth control for a very long time and had no idea when I would O or even how long my cycles would be. I used the Dollar Tree OPKs to save some money and felt they worked out just as good and were easy to read.

Since the LH surge (what the OPK is testing for) can be as short as 12 hours or so, if you don't test everyday, you can EASILY miss it. I would not skip a day at all.
That said, I would highly recommend that you also track your CM so that you can have a good idea of when you are fertile. Good luck!!!

Do you mind me asking- how long did it take for your cycles to be regular?
This is only my second cycle. My first cycle I didnt O at all---never got a +OPK. This cycle I finally got a + on CD 28 so they are a little long but I am not sure how long it will officially last yet. Hoping I dont have to go on to a third cycle!!

Janedoe- thank you for answering... I hope you dont have to go to a 3rd month either. Im happy that you were able to O on your 2nd cycle though

It can be longer than 12 hours, but it normally won't be more than 24 or so hours, so it's important to test everyday if you want to get accurate OPK results.

This was my first month O'ing also and my third month trying. I used dollar tree tests and tested twice a day. I boguht a back up of digitals and ONLY used them when I thought it looked positive to save money because it does get pricey even with the dollar tests twice a day. I finally O'd yesterday on CD 25 and i have to tell you....now that I have seen the dollar tree be positive....the other tests that I thought were maybes were definitely negative. It is so CLEAR when you get a positive. I definitely highly recommend using the dollar tests...they are cheap and reliable! Then you can test twice a day and not feel like you are breaking the bank and be SURE!!! I have actually been testing every single day per the doctors orders. If I only I'd from day 10 to 20 I would have missed it! This forum made me realize that people O at all different times in there cycles and have all different types of cycle lengths. If you test twice a day you are sure to catch it! Good luck!!!!

I bought some CBE digital ones and you're right- I should get the ones with the lines too bc it can get really expensive and since I have NO CLUE how long my cycles are going to be...Im going to be going through a lot of OPKs. Thats great you were able to get a clear answer from the dollar tree ones. Thank you for letting me know, and Im totally going to try those out. Good luck to you too!!

Some people do test twice a day, but Im not sure how they do this in order for it to be accurate. I read that you cant use FMU unless its with CBE... I think. I would love to know the answer to this question too

Thats a good idea...thank you. Do you normally have to hold in your pee for 4 or 5 hrs in order for the OPK to be accurate?
