I love Dr. San Roman at Reproductive Specialists of NY. I go to the Stony Brook office. They are thorough and the staff there is REALLY nice. I started with them Sept. 2007, I was on Metformin to regulate my cycles, I finally ovulated on my own in Dec. and had an IUI on Jan. 2, 2008. Ten days later I got my BFP and 9 months later I had my beautiful DD.

I've been seeing Dr. Michael Lydic for PCOS for about 10 years. He's in that same practice with Dr. San Roman.
I also really liked Dr. Richard Bronson, who I saw when Dr. Lydic was on vacation. I got pregnant on my own so I don't know what they're fertility treatments are like but they did monitor my pregnancy until I was 11-12 weeks and they were fantastic.
They do their blood work right in the office and get the results back to you the same day in many cases. They did sonos every visit, they were very efficient and have early morning hours during the week so I was never late for work. I really liked them and I was bummed when I had to switch to a regular OB but I will definitely be going back there for my PCOS management after the baby is born.

There's an office in Stony Brook and there's an affiliated office in West Islip but I THINK there are different doctors. I'm not sure if other doctors in the practice travel between the offices. I know Dr. Lydic doesn't.

I go to Dr. Kuokkanen at LI-IVF. I go to the Melville office but they also have a Port Jeff and Lake Success office. They open at 6:30am for monitoring which is super convenient for work.

I go to the Reproductive Specialists of NY office in Mineola 516-739-2100 - I see Dr. Trivex there, but i've also heard Dr. Sung is very good. Trivex is a man, Sung is a woman if that matters to you.
I also recommend them - they're fast, efficient and super nice, they always take the time to explain what is going on.
I'm only in my first month of treatment, but i've been there literally 7 times in the past 15 days so i feel like i'm getting a good feel for the place

Dr. Braverman is awesome-I dealt with him over the phone and I can't say enough great things! He is a vendor on this site.

I don't have any experience with Dr. Braverman but one of my good friends used him and had nothing but great things to say about him.......and she's pregnant!!! So I third Dr. Braverman!!...........if you don't use RSONY!
