Are You Superstitious...
I don't want to think about anything baby - like name choices, bedding etc until I know for sure that
1. we are pregnant and
2. we're out of the first trimester.
DH was asking me if I liked certain names the other day & I told him I don't want to say anything because we may be out this month & who knows how long before we can truly have this conversation & mean it.

Not when it comes to stuff like that. I already have a list of names, but we haven't decided on exactly which boy name we'll use first. I've also picked out a lot of baby items that I want. I'm not going to lie, I even have ideas saved for things like the Christening and 1st birthday.
Everyone knows we want a baby. Some people know we're TTC and we probably will tell people not long after we get our BFP because both of us are just so excited to tell people and we have big mouths.
What I am superstitious abotu is actually buying baby things. For example, I think it's cute how some girls tell their SOs by giving them an "I Love Daddy" onesie. I'd like to do that also, but I can't bring myself to buy it until I get my BFP.

I am but DH is worse.
I won't buy anything for the baby until after my first trimester also. It freaks me out. I lurk near baby clothes stores, but would never buy. It doesn't hurt to look. We have some names we like but nothing set in stone.

I bought a really cute onesie about 2 years ago, long before we were TTC'ing. it was a Misfits onesie (they're a band), and i just HAD to have it!
other than that, no, i haven't bought anything. I'm not superstitious, but i really think that there will be enough time for us to do any shopping/planning that we want once we get pregnant
We've discussed names, but nothing serious. I am planning on buying a notebook to write them all down in, once the BFP comes. until then.. it's all just in fun

I won't buy anything or tell most people until I am out of the first trimester.
However, since I am following Italian naming tradition I have known at least half of my babies' names even before I met DH! LOL

I am superstitious, but not really about things like that. We have talked about possible names off and on since we got married. Buying things, I'm not sure. That I would feel more weird about. I would just be terrified something would go wrong.

same here! i love talking about baby names but would never buy anything till after i get a BFP.
Same..... in fact whenever we see things that we would like to do with our DC one day, we refer to our unborn (or, technically unconceived ) child by the name we picked out!!

I'm not superstitious at all. I just feel like whatever happens will have happened no matter what I may or may not have done. I haven't actually bought baby stuff yet, but I wouldn't be against it as i WILL be having children at some point.
I'm like that with everything though. I'll walk under ladders, open umbrellas inside, cross a black cat, etc, and none of them have ever brought me 'bad luck'

Same here, though I'm not sure I'll buy any baby stuff until they're actually HERE.
Most of the names we've come up with are silly ones b/c of DH's last name.

I have had a list of baby names since I was very young
I haven't bought any baby clothes or maternity clothes.
but I DO enter contests to win baby items! IDK why I find buying stuff superstitious but trying to win stuff not as much  I haven't won anything yet so it doesn't matter either way

I agree with this, I am afraid to have anything "baby" in the house, one of DH friends gave us a pack and play just to keep for whenever and I made him take it out of the house. It freaked me out. My family never did baby showers until a few years ago when my gma passed away she was old school italian and believed that there shouldn't be anything until after the baby arrived.
