those taking extra B6..
So I'm looking into taking extra B6 for my luteal phase. My prenatal vitamin has 2.5 mg. I went to GNC today and the B-6 supplement is 100 mg. Is that too much to take together?
If you take additional B6, how much do you take?

Re: those taking extra B6..
My B-6 is 100 mg. I believe that doctors recommend anywhere between 50-200 mgs a day. I started out with 100 because I didn't want to immediately go to the max amount. This is only my first cycle using it, so I am not sure if it has helped yet.

Thanks. Do you take this in addition to your prenatal vitamin?

Re: those taking extra B6..
I take 50 mg in addition to the prenatal. Mine is a B complex though...has B1, B2, and B12. I read somewhere that the other B vitamins help you absorb the the B6. Unfortunately, I have no idea of that is true
