Washing Clothes & Bedding
Yesterday was my baby shower and now I have everything to prepare the nursery. How soon should I wash all the bedding and clothes? I still have 7 weeks to go but if I wash it all now is that too soon for it to remain "clean" till she is here? I feel like I want to get her room all ready now. God forbid I go earlier then expected!

Re: Washing Clothes & Bedding
I would wait to wash everything until the week before you are due because dust will accumulate on everything. If you go into labor before your due date, I would have family wash the clothing and bedding. Lastly, I would only wash a few things - because you don't know if you will need newborn items. For DS he wore newborn clothing for only 3 days at home. We did not go through all of DSs newborn stuff and I was so glad that I did not wash it and take off the tags so I could exchange it for stuff that fit him. DD is 11 days old and still wearing newborn clothing.

Re: Washing Clothes & Bedding
My shower is next weekend. I will be going on 37 weeks. I may wash everything that week just in case he comes early. With 7 weeks to go, it may be too soon.
