TTC and being a MOH
My sister is engaged and getting married Feb 2010...wonderful of course! BUT DH and I are planning on TTC this summer for baby #2 and are hoping for a spring baby which means I'd be pretty pregnant for the wedding. I'm the Matron of honor. We tried on dresses today for the first time and I loved the dress that my sister is leaning towards but I kept thinking what am I going to do if I'm pregnant? We didn't have any trouble getting pregnant as we had planned with DD #1, so I'm hoping it goes the same for us. We still have a while to order these dresses but I don't know what size I would order because we are most likely going to have to order them before I'm TTC or when I'm barely showing. My sister knows all of this too and so does my mom but obviously I can't and wouldn't say to her "ya know I MIGHT be pregnant so can we pick a diff dress"...wwyd?!
PS...I don't think this dress would look right on a very pregnant lady!

I'm a little confused, so let me get this straight. You guys are TTCing now. Your sister's wedding is in Feb, only 4 months away. Even if you do get pregnant right now, you would only be 3.5 months by the wedding. Why not just get the dress 1 size larger?

ITA with lucamon! If we are understanding your post correctly, at most you'd only be starting to show. Ordering the dress 1 or 2 sizes larger is a great idea.

Yea I figured that's what you meant 
I am a bridesmaid in a wedding this May. I am HOPING... no, wait.. PRAYING to be pregnant by then!  
The bride is actually a best friend and knows about our plans. We will be selecting gowns in 2 weeks and my friend has been gravitating toward the empire waist styles, so it just works out that if I am pregnant, that style would work very well,
I would say just see how things go..... and tell the gown place in private that you may be pregnant and to make some kind of note in your file that you may need special alterations...... then when you actually DO get pregnant, make all the necessary arrangements to get the gown altered.
Even if it's not the most flattering style for a pregnant lady, people won't even be focused on that. Whenever I see a pregnant lady in a gown, I think of what a cute belly she has  more than what the gown looks like!  I'm sure you will great!!!

No problem. I figured so.
When do you have to order the dress? I would wait to order anything until next summer after you get your BFP. You can ask the seamstress if the dress can be altered to fit a very pregnant you. They can order extra fabric.
If that doesnt work, I don't think it would be too bad for you to wear a different style as the MOH, as long as it's the same color.
