How much do you spend on the birthday gift when your DC is invited to another child's b-day party?
Do you have a certain amount/limit you spend on the child's gift? Is it $10, $15 or $20?

i have spent between 20-150. 150 obviously was someone execptionally special.
Usually I spend about 30-50 for a 1st bday and 20-40 if is a subsequent bday.

for friend parties (not family) I spend between $25-35

Classmates and random friends.. up to $30.
Kids they've been friends with for a while and who have parents I am friendly with: up to $50
Family and children of close friends: up to $100.

i think $25-35 for friends
for nieces and nephews $50, although i think i spent more on my nephew for his first bday.
