ok what is your take on this....LONG

Here is my situation-

I missed AF for 3 months. Doctor prescribed Provera 5 days and clomid for 5 days. I misunderstood the doctor she sadi days 5-9 to take the clomid. I thought take the Provera for 5 days and on the 5th day take clomid. What it was supposed to be was after the provera when I get my AF to take the clomid on the 5th day of bleeding.....well I had to call her all after i did some research when a friend who has done the same told me i did it wrong!

Ok so I started Provera on Sept 15-19 then Clomid 20-24 I got AF on the 25th. I called the doc and she said to use my CBEFM and BD 1 bar=every other day, 2 bars (high fert)= everyday and 3 bar (peak fert)=2 times a day. Ok well 3 days after the bleed from the provera I got 2 bars which means high fert. so we BDed everyday we had 2 bars.... i now had 2 bars for 7 days! I know the CBEFM shows 6 fertile days but 7? We have BD'ed for 6 days straight...i think we will give it rest tonight even though it says high fert. I dunno if we should rest or keep going........

Then I thought to myself......can I be preggers? If you take an ovulation test when preggers will you get a positive everytime? I know to make sure u need a HPT but i was just curious.....I dont wanna test myself yet I am trying to hold out...but I will say I frequently have to urinate (sorry if TMI) but this coming from a person who doesnt pee all that much I notice that i had to wake up in the middle of th night to go and i NEVER had to do that and I also am I teacher and I find myself having the need to go during classes that i have never had to go in before. My DH thinks I am buggin myself out.

PS I also have read that clomid can give false high fert days on the CBEFM.....

has anyone else experienced this with the monitor? Am I making myself crazy?

ETA: I put in the clomid ovulation calculator the date I started the clomid and here is what I got
If you take Clomid for 5 days from 9/20/2009 to 9/24/2009,
you would expect to ovulate between 9/29/2009 and 10/4/2009.
You can start LH testing for ovulation on 9/27/2009.
Optimally you would start making love every 1-2 days starting on 9/27/2009.

*I got the high fert on CD7 which was 10/3 but the day before which was 10/2 I did get a low

Any input would help me at this point! I think I am driving my DH nuts.

in regards to the CBEFM i was getting high days when i shouldnt be, i was being monitored by re so i know i was no where near O & got egg a week earlier than normal. the first few months i used it, it was fine but the last 2 months it was off so i just stopped using it, i am being monitored by RE so it was pointless for me to continue to use it.
BTW i'm on clomid & metaformin, clomid makes me O pretty late cd19-20
