3rd Tri ladies!! Who is still cooking dinner?
Just wondering. Im still cooking 4-5 nights a week and hating every second of it after working a full day.
Not to mention...for 8 months I've had a horrible taste in my mouth that realy puts me off to food so deciding what to cook is just the worst decision to make!!!
Anyone stop cooking yet and if so...what do you do for dinner??

Linda you are not the only one. I am still cooking 4-5 days a week. But i have done all simple stuff. Like using my crock pot, or throwing stuff on the grill. I just dont feel like doing anything that takes alot of time.
Luckily dh helps out on his days off, so this week it mean he cooks dinner wednesday and thursday

I love when DH works late, I can have cereal!  I only cook meals on my days off, I only work 3 days a week and I just do quick things those days.

still cooking and hating it!  lol
The bad taste in my mouth I've discovered only happens when I eat sweets, which I'm not about to stop eating lol
I made tortilla soup last night (well, I made it Sunday)
Tonight it's chicken picatta
tomorrow he can eat leftovers, I have plans
Thursday enchilada casserole
I don't cook on the weekends! HAHA

I stopped cooking probably around the beginning of the third tri. When I was working (I stopped last week), I was commuting 45 minutes to an hour each way and was too tired by the time I got home.
Dinner became frozen pizza, grilled cheese, cold cuts, baked clams, salad, english muffin pizza, hot dogs, cereal... Not really cooking.
I am anxious to start cooking again after the baby comes and I'm on maternity leave.

yeah for me the bad taste is sweets and carbs.. so sugars I guess, even the frozen veggies do it to me like corn b/c of the sugar.
So Pasta is also the WORST thing for me to eat!
I think that's what's frustrating me more than the actual cooking... it's figuring out what quick thing I can cook that wont give me the bad taste in my mouth. It's like I just feel defeated after I cook b/c nothing is cutting it. I end up eating a tiny bit and going to sleep starving!! This whole food thing is just not what I thought it would be preggers.. kwim!!! ugggg

I am still cooking, but I am just starting my 3rd tri...29 wks...so I am not bothered by it yet...

ya know, I didn't even think of the carbs and sugar...it probably does it then too! I don't have carbs that often b/c of DH. I know it's frustrating but I am more use to not eating carbs b/c of DH so if you ever need any recipes let me know. The ones listed above are pretty carb free/sugar free,I mean not 100% carb free/sugar free but close enough for DH to eat.

6 days til d-day, still cooking almost every day.
and I make breakfast every day too

this has been me too the entire time. and I LOVE food...so it's been the most disappointing.
totally disappointing, I thought I'd have some weird ones but I got nothing besides the occasional iced coconut coffee from D&D.

Still cooking. I've been using Dream Dinners pretty much every night lately since I'm so tired. All the prep work is done & it's something different & delicious every night.

I'm still cooking but I try to make 2 or 3 big meals so we have left overs, that way I'm not stuck figuring out dinner every night.. very annoying

im due in 2 days and still cooking! not every night, but at least 3-4 nights a week. other nights we go and eat at my parents or his parents house or just get takeout. i prefer a home cooked meal though cause theres less salt.
