UPDATE programmable thermostat
So my fiance installed our new programmable thermostat all by himself! LOL! It was funny because we were testing it standing in the room quiet waiting to hear the click of the furnice...finally after several seconds (which felt like minutes) it clicked. So he did it all on his own...didn't have to hire anyone to come to the house!
Now i hope our gas bills are 1/2 what they were last year (keeping my fingers crossed)

We got a Honeywell thermostat from Home Depot-it was onsale this week for only $24.99.
Before we used to turn the heat on when we would get home from work and run it all night until we left for work the next day...our bills were outrageous...we had to make a change!
It's rigt in this weeks Home Depot circular-so far i recommend it...Good Luck!
