if so, what was your experience? how was the pricing/quality of the floor?
Did they come in and do one of those 3 hour sales pitches? (I have an 8 month old and NO time for that!)
TIA!

So, I guess from what you are saying is that they are expensive?
I don't have an appointment with them or anything, I was just curious if anyone has used them.

you know i've seen a lot of people say this and i didn't see it. we compared their prices (this was for carpet) to HD and Lowe's and they were very similar.
installation for us was veyr smooth, but again, i don't know how it would be for hardwood.
can you price the flooring elsewhere before having them come in?

Re: Has anyone used Empire Carpet for hardwood flooring?
I did not have my hardwood done by them. But i did have my bathroom tile done by them along with the Bathfitter for the bath tub and part of the walls. Compared to Bathfitter, they were way less expensive and the floor was also cheaper compared to some other places DH priced out. As for the sales pitch, the guy came in and told us about the products. Showed us some samples and that was it. He didn't try to sell us on anything. Meaning he didn't push. He was at our house for wuite a bit because we were asking alit of questions. I was very happy with their service.
