Dr. Fried or Dr. Trongone?

Hi girls...huge lurker and former LIWs gal here. Disguised my name since I have many friends on this site I'm on month 5 of TTC. My former gyno is a nurse practitioner and I don't like any of the gynos in that office. Dr. Fried and Dr. Trongone have been recommended to me and I was hoping to get some feedback. I want to schedule an appointment asap. TIA!

I have no personal experience with Dr. Trongone - but my SIL raves about him. She actually switched to him mid pregnancy because she was not happy with her then ob. My SIL said he is the only doctor in his practice which she really liked and he did a great job closing her after her CS.

She highly recommended him to me, and I would go to him if I did not already have a obgyn that i was very happy with (he is in the city though). She actually just gave birth a couple of weeks ago so her experience is very recent. Good luck with your decision.

I love Dr Fried and the whole office. I have been going for 10+ years and she (if you are talking about Wendy) is the best. All my friends go to see her and although she hasnt delivered any of their babies (luck of the day) the other MDs in the office are absolutely great too. If you have questions you can FM me.

i used to go to both! they are both FANTASTIC doctors. i switched from Trongone to Friend bc i wanted a woman. i LOVE Fried, however, she is close to impossible to get an appointment with. So, i started using Dr Hetty Chung (she's in the same office) and i LOOOVE her. she is the best. she personally calls me with any and all test results and i can get an appointment with her within a week or two!

Dr. Trongone is fantastic! I started going to him when I was pregnant with DC #1. For new patients it was a long wait for a regular chek-up appt. which is what I had scheduled first, but as soon as I got pregnant with DC#1, there was no problem with coming right in. The nurses on staff are very helpful and they can always answer any questions you may have over the phone. He is really great and I have a few friends that already see him and rave about him too.
