Spinoff to when you are pg how will you tell..

Talking about how we are going to tell our parents got me thinking. How long do you plan on waiting to tell your parents you are pregnant? Are you going to tell both sets at the same time? Together? Etc...?


ETA: We live out of state, and I really want to tell our parents in person. I just don't know how long I am going to be able to hold out. I can't keep a secret to save my life. I was thinking of waiting until we go for our first sono/hear the heartbeat. That is around 8 weeks I think. I think I can hold out that long. I will tell my BFF first after DH, and then BIL and FSIL and swear them to secrecy until we tell the parents.

I told my mom the day I got my BFP I waited a bit to tell my dad bc I knew he would blab to every person he ever met!

I would like to tell my family in person as well and they live out of state. My sisters are coming up in october for DS's birthday so we'll see what happens then.
