um, we did most of our "stuff" last minute (a week before DS was born) so i am not a big help at all!

i think it's best to wait until after your shower to see what you still need.

babies need a lot less than we think Chat Icon

Did you talk with your hr dept about your disability? You still have time to do that (my hr person called me last week so we went over it).

That's pretty much all I've done that's different from you. I've been shopping for some fall clothes because it's gotten so chilly in the morning and I've been freezing.

you can take this time to check out some pediatricians!
you will need one shortly after birth! some even go to the hospital to check on the baby.

Re: I am due 3 months from today!!!!!! ETA: I need help figuring out what to do next here.

This was something I saved from when I was pg with DS...

crib
Crib bedding set - pads for perimeter come in handy later when they roll over on their own and hit the sides
changing table
changing table pad
changing table pad covers - I would suggest 3 (boys pee on things alot in the beginning)
changing pads - heavy cloth pads that can be more frequently replaced and washed than the pad cover
dreft detergent - best in the beginning to be sure baby doesn't have an issue with detergents - Do not use fabric softener for awhile can break out their skin.
gowns - easy because you change alot of diapers in the beginning and you are having a "warm weather" baby
onesies
pajamas-these should always be snug to avoid twisting when sleeping
boppy if you are thinking of nursing - even if you are not, they are handy when the start sitting up, extra support for them
bottles - Avent and Dr brown are probably the best - Dr. Brown has lots of pcs to wash - somewhat of a downer
bottle drying rack and bottle brush
bouncy seat - HUGE helper for keeping baby in one place when you ned to do something (like bathe)
bassenet to use for the 1st month or two. - Nice to have in room when you are getting up every few hours to feed.
Desitin for red bottoms
breast pads for you if you nurse
floor play mat, optional a blanket can suffice
sleep wedges - helps from keeping them rolling onto their stomachs, they are basically foam wedges with velcro bottoms
baby wash (contrary to popular belief you DO NOT need baby powder or baby oil)
washcloths
towels - they make small hooded ones handy for the first year
tub - optional we use the kitchen sink with a dish cloth on the bottom We have an infant tub we can bring at easter if you would like it (a friend recommended this and we do it every time no: When bathing baby, let water run down their face, soap and all. This avoids much drama later when kids make a big deal about getting their faces wet in the tub and also makes them better swimmers early since they are not afraid to put their faces in the water)
receiving blankets - good for in the beginning as you can keep them swaddled and they usually sleep a little better. nothing like a baby burrito.
pacifers - may take testing several different kinds to find the one he likes, we have had good luck with NUK. Some folks frown on pacifier's but our kids sleep better the first 18 months with them. Vincent quit his cold turkey before 2 years of age. We also only use them when sleeping, not walking around.
diapers - lots
wipes
mobile for crib
no stuffed animals in bed in the beginning, may cause smothering
Good camera
extra sheets for bassinet
rocking chair or glider rocker
soft music
some people like to have a digital thermometer in room to monitor room temp.
thermometer to check baby temp
grooming kit (brush, comb, nail clipper, etc,)
sheet savers - they are great if the baby spits up alot and you won't have to change the sheets everytime - just change the sheet saver. They were awesome for Vincent.
pack and play with sheet(s)- many come with lots of extras that most folks never use
carseat - two bases would make life easier since you or Jeremy could take a vehicle without switching car seat bases back and forth, Jeremy can go to the local fire station to check if he installed corectly if that is a comfort to you
stroller - many come matched to car seats so they "click" in until baby is ready to sit up in the stroller on his own
jogging stroller if you plan on walking alot - they have to be able to sit up to use - around 6 months
baby bjorn or similar carrier- I recommend the baby bjorn for comfort even though they are pricey. great for shopping and going places. Jeremy will like it.
Purell hand sanitizer for the house
Breast pump if planning a long term committment to nursing (Holli may have one) This is beneficial to get the baby accustomed to a bottle so you and baby can be apart for a feeding if needed
Monitor - with remotes, very handy!
Aquaphor - often used for dry skin issues and more effective than lotions or creams
Diaper pail - We recommend something that uses regular trash bags (we have a diaper champ). Diaper "genie" is popular but the bag refills get expensive!
Clothes Hamper - makes segregating baby's cothes easier
Burp cloths - we used thin cloth diapers for this purpose, you go though lots of these!
Diaper Bag - we recommend back pack style to allow "hands free" mobility and a small single diaper size bag for the quick trips as needed (less bulky)
Stuff for the hospital: Robe, slippers, your own PJs are sometimes allowed, reading material, ipod?, chnge of clothes, baby "go home" outfit
Post delivery: Tucks wipes come in handy, large feminine pads (both assume vaginal delivery), the hospital will have ice packs/feminine pad combos, steal some for later - they may come in handy.

Im also due 3 months from today.

I am waiting for my diaper bags to come in. My furniture will come in December. We are trying to clean out our bedroom to make room for everything.

I just signed up for a breast feeding class and a baby care class. Other than that Im not sure what else to do.
