Update: How long Before missed AF
How long before missed AF can you get a blood test taken to see if you are pregnant. I took a blood test last week friday my AF is due today and there is no sign of appearance. I have had sore boobs 2 weeks before period and nausea. My boobs are no longer sore I still get nauseated from smells. However my results from my blood test last friday came back negative so what do you think is going on with me?

i had a beta 2 days before my missed period (so I was 12dpo) and my HcG was 115.
Not to much sooner than that since numbers double every 24-48 hours. Maybe 9or10 dpo. I dont think you will get solid beta results until you get a positive HPT.

how many DPO are you? maybe you have a short LP or you O'd later than you thought?

I believe I ovulated on the 28th around that time so that would 12 DPO today i am so new at this all I am so confused.

i did a little reaseach and it seems that on average, bloodwork can dectect HcG around 10dpo. if you are 12 dpo today, then on Friday you were 7dpo ... too early for bloodwork. Maybe try again?
I would wait another day or two and take a line hpt!!

ITA. It could have been too early or you could have a late implanter which would mean that your HCG would be "lower" than normally expected. Either way, you are not out until AF comes, so keep testing!

I was told that a blood test will come up positive about 9 days past conception, which for the most part is 5 days before your missed period (LP of 14).
