Driving myself crazy
So I'm 5 DPO of my first 2ww...and I'm going to go insane!! Besides the fact that I am watching everything like a hawk, I also have a cold so my system is not normal to begin with right now! My mental checklist on every symptom is crazy.
- I have to pee constantly ...yeah because I am drinking fluids constantly and I have the bladder capacity of a mouse
- I am kind of nauseous ...because of post nasal drip building up mucus in my stomach
- I am tired ...and sick
-I am crampy ...or are my muscles just sore from trying to find a position that I can breath in at night, and then tossing and turning the rest of the night once I lose that original position
- I am having crazy dreams ...I ALWAYS have crazy dreams
I am trying to keep reality in check...but I'm struggling! All this waiting is hard work

Re: Driving myself crazy
the 2ww is the hardest, and especially your first one. You think any twinge of anything is a symptom (which it could be) and are super aware of everything your body is doing. I know it's tough, but you can do it!
Good Luck!!!

Re: Driving myself crazy
I am so glad to hear that others are in my shoes too. I know there are others in my shoes, from watching last month's 2ww-ers. But it is nice to hear I'm not the only one right now I think I may go crazy. And it is even worse today b/c I just had my annual exam/TTC checkup today at the gyno and so I am even more hyper-aware than usual. However, the only good thing about my wishing myself into pregnancy symptoms/being sick is that I was able to pee on demand for a urine sample - usually I have a problem with that (sorry if TMI)
Oh and my doctor isn't helpful either. His parting words to me were "Come back pregnant soon!" Even the nurse was laughing.
to us all and just as an added precaution

Re: Driving myself crazy
I have been the SAME way!!! I'm 9DPO right now. This is kind of my first 2WW wait, only because this is the first month I've ever confirmed my O date and really TRIED. So I'm very anxious to test next week (well, in 4 days - AF is due in 6).
I've been feeling so many symptoms even though I'm sure it's all in my head. Grrr.
-I have been randomly nauseous, but maybe it's because I've been eating CRAP. lol
- cramps and sharp tugging pains in my abdomen...
- incredible EXHAUSTED!!!!! But that could be that I'm overworked and in the sun almost all day
Blah... I pray this is our month. If not, then I'll know that I'm going crazy with these symptom checklists. lol.
You are not alone!!!!!
MOVE FASTER TIME!! I'M SICK OF WAITING TO TEST!!!!!

I was just wondering how far along they are on time-machine technology...it doesn't have to be too advanced yet since I only want to go ahead about a week
