TBAF arrived today after a lot of spotting… its still kinda weird and not like normal AF. But I guess since this is my first real AF off BCP I have nothing to compare it too.. but my temp dropped to just slightly above the coverline this morning, and I am fairly sure this is AF..
I thought I would be upset about it, but really while I wish it was our month, I’m just glad I confirmed O and can start getting a better idea of my cycle. At least my body is finally recovering from 12 years of almost non-stop BCP.
I don’t know what cycle length next month has in store – but I may still make the September 2WW… but for now back to CD1.
Although we started TTC on May 1st, I am considering this past cycle month 1, since it’s the first cycle that we really had a chance. So on to month #2 and here’s to hoping that I O earlier than CD32 next time around!
Flower... How long was your cycle after getting off BCP?
well the first cycle started 5.1 and was anovulatory and went until i got provera and got AF on 7.23 - so about 83 days.
this second one was 42, but I O'ed at or around CD32 so I had a fairly normal LP and pretty much expected either AF or a BFP anytime from today through the weeekend.
thanks for the support girls. you all really understand and it really rocks to have people around that understand. especially since we arent telling anyone we are TTC.
