Funny how your thinking changes...
So I got stung in the boob this morning. Yup you read that right. Stung in the booby by a yellow jack. I leaned against the railing of the deck to see where the dog was, and apparently the yellow jack was there first. It stung me right in the boob, almost directly in the nipple.  The funny thing is after the stabbing pain, I thought omg what if that happened & I was breast feeding? Does anyone else think differently about everything now that your ttc? I was thinking if we had a dc that I was breastfeeding I wouldn't have been able to use my right boob today. The venom had to bee localized there.  Those commercials are right, having a baby changes everything.

I hear you! I am totally going crazy with a cold right now and my usual first reaction is to grab the dayquil. Now my first reaction is well, it only lasts about a week right?

haha. thats funny! I totally agree tho. Whenever something puts pressure on my belly (like dh leaning on it, or one of the kids I work with running into me) i definitely find myself responding differently. I KNOW that wont fly when I'm pregnant

It still hurts. I read that yellow jackets don't die after a sting, and can just keep stinging over & over again. I think that little sucker got me more than once. I swear I have one giant boob now & one regular sized one. I feel lopsided

yup, i can relate.
We've been TTC'ing for 8 months now and every time someone invites us to a party i spend days agonizing over what to do. I keep thinking, what if i'm pregnant by then.. how do i handle going to a party and not drinking? (i'm a big drinker so everyone would know in less than one minute if i'm not drinking as usual)
I haven't had to deal with it yet, but i keep thinking thats going to be my downfall.. someone will notice and say something inappropriate and i won't know how to handle it!
Also in thinking about plans we have for the holidays, or for events next year, i wonder if i'll be pregnant or have a baby by then
so yes, i think differently now about everything!

Ahh!!! I hope you are feeling better!!!!
I just recalled an image of when I was in sleepaway camp and a bee stung my hand and it blew up to 5x it's normal size.
Now I'm imagining that happening to my boob. YIKES

You could totally just hold a drink at these parties. If your socializing no one will even realize your not drinking a lot, especially if they are. Even switch off your drinks w/ DH.
