Honest Opinions?
What do you ladies think of the names Hazel & Iris for a girl??
Hazel I feel like it could be a stripper name and Iris I had a girl in my class who was named Iris and now I really dont like that name anymore 
Dh loves both of these names and I dont know if Im being fair.... please give your HONEST opinions!! TIA

I don't like Hazel. It sounds like the name of a wench.
Iris is better, but I am not loving it.

Hazel sounds more like ano old lady name, not a hooker/stripper Iris reminds me of the eye or the flower (which is pretty). Not a fan of either JMO.

well they're both different and I hate common names, so that's a plus. 
I'm trying to think of how i'd feel if MY dh suggested them. Cause they're not BAD at all, just not my favorites. I think Iris is a cool name. I've never heard it before, so I can't compare it to anybody. The only reason why I might NOT pick it was because it reminds me a little of Isis (the transvestite on America's Next Top Model. lol). Hazel is an ok name also. It's kinda cool and different, but I dunno. I kinda picture her turning into one of those snobby cheerleaders in high school and then proceeding to accomplish her life goal as a playboy bunny. lol. Sorry. That sounds really rude. But it's kind of what I picture with that name

Hazel does sound like a STRIPPER name!!! Its cute but I personally wouldnt do it..
Iris is my aunts name.. I like it! Its has such a calm feeling to it..

My first thought is that both are nice, but slightly old fashioned. They remind me of eyes (hazel is my eye color, Iris is self explanatory..)
I definitely don't think of Hazel as a stripper name.. i have completely the opposite connotation for it!
However.. what matters is what YOU guys like. and if you're not comfortable with it, then thats enough.
