OPK question

What CD should I start testing?? Tomorrow is day 9. Do you think it is too early to begin testing? Also, do I need to test twice a day?? I am not sure what the best way to do this is. Any help for the newbie would be great!!! TIA

Re: OPK question

What test did you get? They usually have a little chart on the back that helps you determine when to start testing based on your cycle length. I test starting CD 10 but CD 9 is probably fine too. My cycle is usually 25-27 days. so if yours is longer, CD 9 may be too soon. It doesnt hurt to start early but it can get expensive.

Also, you don't have to test twice a day but I think you should be consistent as far as what time you test each day. And you should try not to have had anything to drink for a few hours before testing.

Re: OPK question

For a 27-28 day cycle, I think starting to test on CD10 is a good bet. You should test once a day, sometime in the afternoon or early evening, after you have held your pee for about 4 hours. If you don't get a + for this month, you can try testing earlier or testing twice a day when you start to see EWCM.
