Sensitivity of Pregnancy Tests
Which pregnancy tests are most sensitive? The strips or the digital that say PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT?

Re: Sensitivity of Pregnancy Tests
the strips. digitals are usually less sensitive than most HPTs. however (i know this is going to sound strange) even HPTs vary in sensitivity from test to test.
check out www.peeonastick.com - there is a great chart on there that can answer your question!

Re: Sensitivity of Pregnancy Tests
The line tests will usually show up positive before the digital tests do (if you are pregnant). That's why most women will wait until they get a positive on the strip tests before they use a digital to confirm.
However, I have heard that there are some "early detection" digital tests out there too! So just look to see if you find those (although they will probably cost more than the regular non-digital tests).

Re: Sensitivity of Pregnancy Tests
Thanks ladies for the replies. I'm so puzzled this month! I'm at CD28 today and due for AF tomorow but I totally don't feel her coming. I usually have really sore boobs, cramps, and bloating but all I have is horrible insomnia and slight cramps. This morning I used a CBE digital but it came back NOT PREGNANT. I'll try the strips tomorrow. Send me lots of
vibes!

Re: Sensitivity of Pregnancy Tests
I knew I had seen those "test early" digital tests - here are some that say you can get your results up to 5 days sooner (like the first response early response line tests).
And I found this chart with the sensitivity of different tests (the lower the mIU # listed, the sooner you can get accurate + results!
