continuation for my "ferning" microscope delema

I wrote to the fertile focus people about how I had partial ferning CD 10 & 11 (which means that Ovulation is on it's way) and about how I suddenly lost it and am now receiving NO ferning at all on CD 12 &13 (when I probably SHOULD be). They said that it sounds like I may have ovulated early this cycle. Wouldn't that be crazy though??? To ovulate on CD8 or 9??

I'm gonna keep doing the microscope and OPKs though, watching until AF shows in a few weeks and see if I ever do get the all clear sign. if I don't then maybe i DID ovulate last week Chat Icon

If i DID O ridiculously early, then I'm not sure if I have any hope for this cycle. Me & Dh BD'd on Sunday (CD5) so if I did O on CD 8 or 9 then MAYBE it's a possibility that one of them stuck. Otherwise I'm watching and hoping for it to still come Chat Icon

Wish me luck ladies, please! This is making me CRAZY!!

that is what we thought right? that you O early this cycle. that is why you weren't getting the positive on the OPK b/c you started to late in your cycle. this is exciting. it seems you figured out you just O early, and it is not crazy everyone is different. It's not LIKELY to ovulate before CD10, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen!!!! And if you had fertile CM around the time you BD'd, then you could have a chance! Sperm can survive 3-5 days in fertile CM so that puts you in the right timeframe.

You never know! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

(But I would keep testing just in case!)

yes, this IS what we were suspecting may have happened. I'm definitely going to keep at it though just to see if I still do ovulate. But if not, then you are right - I definitely learned something this cycle and next time around I'll have to start testing MUCH earlier.

And yesssss - if i did O early, I really hope one of them stuck. Thanks for the babydust. I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed. We'll see.
