So frustrated - but this made me smile
My Dad called today to see how things were with our new house and in casual conversation asked if he will be a 'grandpa anytime soon'. While we haven't had the TTC conversation with ANY of our parents or friends or anyone (other than here on LIF) - I told him that we are TTC, even though we are having a hard time with it, he told me that him and my step mother have been looking around at other grandparents and feeling envy, they have been drawn to baby clothes in the stores to start buying..
I told him to put it on his christmas list 
I thought it was so cute of him

be thankful for that - - my father and I don't speak to each other...he has never met my daughter because he doesn't want to. Wish she had a grandpa who wanted to be a part of her life. Happy for u that you have that

I wish my dad was like that. Instead he says "Don't do yourselves any favors. There is no rush" This coming from the father (mind you I am an only child in an Italian family), who didn't want me to plan the wedding. I had to threaten to get married at city hall to get him to come to the RH.
