Going off the pill ? (maybe TMI)

Sorry for all the details but just curious what is going on with my body!

I stopped taking the pill almost 2 weeks ago.
I got my period 8/6 and it stoppeed 8/10. I have been doing the OPK and have not got any positives.

Here is the TMI----For the last two days every time I go to the bathroom and wipe there is blood on the toilet paper (cherry red blood). Nothing on my underwear or in the toilet just on the paper. What is going on? Is this my period? Is this normal? Did anyone else have random bleeding when the stopped the pill?

sorry about all the details but I have no clues what is going on with my body and of course I am reading into everything now!

Some women will spot around the time they ovulate. You may have or will be ovulating soon and will be getting your + OPK, or its possible that you had a short LH surge of less than 12 hrs so if you're just testing once a day, you theoretically could have missed it on the OPK tests.

It sounds to me like the 8/6 - 8/10 may not have been a period. I think you may have just been bleeding as a withdrawal from coming off the pill. It is really normal to have wacky things happen when you come off the pill. It seems that now your just having normal spotting. I think you should keep using the OPK's to see if you get a positive, but also you may have to wait for a true period. Can't hurt to do both while you wait.
